About Crochet Mine
Hi, I’m Emily — and welcome to Crochet Mine.
Crochet Mine is a place for anyone who loves making things by hand. I started this site to gather the kinds of crochet projects I actually want to make and wear: pretty summer tops, easy beginner pieces, and the occasional ambitious make that’s worth the extra effort. Whether you’re picking up a hook for the very first time or you’ve got a basket full of finished projects already, my hope is that you’ll find something here that makes you want to cast on.
What you’ll find here
Most of what I share are free crochet patterns, with a soft spot for wearable tops — tanks, halters, backless styles, cut-outs, and other warm-weather pieces — alongside accessories and beginner-friendly projects. Each post walks through the make step by step: the materials you’ll need, the skill level, the stitches involved, and tips to help you avoid the snags I’ve hit myself.
I try to write the way I’d explain a project to a friend sitting next to me — clearly, honestly, and without pretending every project is effortless. Some are quick afternoon makes; some are a proper weekend’s work. I’ll always tell you which is which.
Why “Crochet Mine”
Because the best part of handmade is that it’s yours. A top you crocheted fits the way you want, in the color you chose, with the little adjustments only you would think to make. There’s nothing else quite like wearing something you built stitch by stitch.
Say hello
I love hearing what you’re making. If you’ve finished a project, have a question about a pattern, or just want to chat crochet, reach me any time at crochetminecontact@gmail.com, or follow along on Pinterest where I save new ideas all the time.
Thanks for being here — now go make something.
